地点:后主楼1610会议室 Abstract:Many scholars have suggested that flexibility is a critical firm capability to survive in todays competitive arena. But, where does flexibility come from? We examine the relationships between top management teams social processes (shared vision, social integration and contingent rewards), organizational flexibility (ability to relax the control capacity of the management), and technological flexibility (ability to decompose, integrate and coordinate various technologies and products), using a sample of 227 firms from China. We further examine how foreign investment and government ties can moderate the relationships. Our results expand previous research by not only highlighting the importance of top management team social processes in driving organizational and technological flexibility, but also indicating whether foreign investment and government ties either enhance or inhibits such relationships.主讲人:王唐(博士),美国密歇根理工大学商学院创业与创新Charles C. and John G. Gates 讲席教授王博士拥有美国密苏里大学亨利布劳克管理学院的博士学位,专业从事创业与创新领域的教学、研究和咨询。他的研究成果已发表在国际领先的Journal of Business VenturingJournal of Product Innovation ManagementR&D Management等著名期刊,他的博士论文曾获得中国管理研究国际学会(IACMR)颁发的李宁论文奖一等奖。王博士还曾获得了由国家教育部授予的国家优秀自费留学生奖学金以及堪萨斯城亚美商会颁发的杰出学术奖
